Today.

Well, We have a woodduck laying under the Pompous Grass on 10 eggs. She stays there with them all nite' well into mid-day. Question is, Can a woodduck and a goose really hatch babies? Guess I'll have to wait and see. It's the prettiest little nest I've ever seen, and she seems to think there's reason to be there. I've posted the question on two of my ezboard forums, one of them being Nettie's Poultry, so I'm hoping for some replies. If anyone knows, these guys would. Jonny says that it is possible, and he is very infrequently wrong. So, let's wait and see what developes.
My sister Bonnie called and told me that she has to have a pacemaker put in. She is very nervous about it, so prayers for her, please. It will not be in the immediate future. Dr. wants her to lose some weight first. She is hoping that the weight lose will keep the pacemaker from becoming a reality. I hope so too. Nevertheless, they have come a long way with pacemakers, and I am sure everything will be OK.
I have more to say, but at a later date perhaps.    Jonny, Welcome back. I love you very much. Miss you. Mama.
